Ok, I have a two fold question.

I am looking for ideas about one, our firepit area. We built the firepit in the middle of a grove of cedar trees. It has some moss growing around and I really want to encourage the growth of the moss. Don't have any idea on how to make that happen! The second question is that we are building a patio off of our back porch, as an extension to expand seating and have a place for our grill/smoker and jacuzzi. Really need ideas on that one! We are looking for inexpensive ways to get seating. I don't want another patio table there, I already have one on the porch, but am interested in what other people have done on their patios that didn't cost a fortune! thanks I will try to get some pics of the firepit area sometime this week. It could look fabulous, I just don't know how to make it happen!

I found some info about encouraging moss growth on mossandstonegardens.com. It says to weed the area very well and clear it of stones and leaves. Then to water the moss lightly about 6 times a day. And as for your seating, I just pinned pallet seating on Pinterest the other day. I'm gonna try to attach pix because the website is not in English. But it's a really nice seating area. Hope I've helped a little.

thaks Daniella! Wow 6 times a day? The area is pretty clear, it mostly has the debris from the cedar trees. so, I will try and get the area as cleared as I can and try that idea!
