Rustic Pallet Wood Arrow Diy

I love creating things out of pallet wood. Pallets are the perfect blend of free and rustic. And with that in mind, I bring you my oversized (40 inch long) pallet wood arrow.
Start by drawing an arrow on newspaper or any other large piece of paper. Cut out the arrow and transfer to a piece of plywood.
Cover up the arrow that you just cut out with pieces of pallet wood.
Use your plywood backing to mark exactly where the cuts should be on the pallet wood. and make the cuts.
Nail the pallet wood to the plywood backing and paint in the color of your choice.
The edging around the arrow is actually a plastic lattice, spray painted and coated with cinnamon to give that nice "rusty" finish. This was nailed into place with finishing nails.
