Marsha Benbrook Miller on Jun 03, 2015I'm an admitted cheapskate. I don't buy Starbucks cappuccino but I do spring for a powdered form made by Hills Bros. The powder comes in a rectangular plastic container with a snap on lid. I've thrown away a bunch of these because I'm not clever enough to think of what I could use them for. Anyone have any suggestions to make good use of these instead of putting them in the recycle bin?

Jill Ron Pike on Jun 06, 2015@Marsha Benbrook Miller Could be painted with a special paint for plastics, then labeled. If they are small ones like the International Coffee containers, you could use them for spices or other foods in the pantry, for small items like buttons or beads in the craft room....just about anywhere you need a container that size. Also could be used to start seeds for plants in the garden, in the garage for nuts, bolts, nails etc.......ohhh now you've got me started...LOL

Carol Burkhardt Rask on Jun 04, 2015I'm a QVC shopper, and my recent purchase is this great can opener. It has no edges to cut your hand on and even has this special little edge grabber so you never have to get your hands dirty or the can opener either. I really do love it.
