The Secret to Creating a Cozy and Charming Outdoor Space

The front yard is the area where people first 'meet' you ~ I wanted ours to be cozy and charming and with some hard work and sweat we created that space.
A few years ago my husband and I bought some wooden chairs from a woman who was selling her home....I think we may have paid $20.00 for the set and at the time I just assumed we would put them in the back yard which at first we did but they have migrated to the front...and they have stayed there.
These stones were gathered from walks on a local trail with my oldest son when he was just a baby ~ I would collect the rocks and place them in the bottom of the stroller. Every time I see these stones I fondly remember those walks and that time with him.
It's taken a few years to plan things out but our front yard has something blooming all throughout the summer.
This is our main seating area ~ it consists of the yard sale wooden chairs, a white wooden box with numbered cubicles that I swap out fresh cut flowers throughout the summer, a rustic wooden box that holds different things throughout our warmer months, a small fairy statue (my first gift from my husband) and a few other memory pieces.
I would love for you to stop by my blog and see the rest of the front yard!
