Mary Ker on May 29, 2015Lucky you! With that neutral a palette, you can go anywhere, depending on the feel you wAnt. I like grey and white with cool, beachy blues and greens..creates a serene look. That' what I have in my bedroom...very restful. For a kitchen, you could spice that up with pops of bright teal, rich green, and throw in some orangish red for drama.Helpful Reply

Shari on May 29, 2015The sky is the limit since gray and white are neutral. Any color(s) you like is going to go nicely with gray and white. I dislike brown and beige so I have used gray (plus black and white) as the neutrals in my homes for more than 20 years. In the different rooms of my current home I use navy, aqua, French blue and yellow, green, and pink as accent colors with gray, black and white. Besides the suggestions already given, you can also bring in accent colors with a throw rug, or artwork, if you have any blank wall space.Helpful Reply

Lee Cunningham Green on May 29, 2015I love white and grey as a base and the sky really is the limit with these choices, I just painted my all white enclosed porch white grey and schoolbus yellow. You would not think it would work but it came out beautifully. Most any shade of blue, green, or red also look really fantastic with white and grey combos.Helpful Reply

Kimberly A on May 30, 2015What a great base for you to add anything you want! If you don't want to paint think about this being a great time to bring in your favorite colors with new countertop appliances, window valances, towels etc. Now if you don't have a backsplash you can bring in color here as well. In my kitchen, I love red so my backsplash and all of my countertop appliances are red. Everyone compliments me on those choices when they see my new kitchen. Just go bold and try your favorite color or colors and enjoy!Helpful Reply

Julie A. Spears on May 30, 2015If you don't want to paint, why not use bowls, dishes, and other things to get your color. Your white and gray kitchen would look great with aqua and lime green accent colors, and would give your kitchen the pop of color it needs. You could add to the collection as your budget permits.Helpful Reply

JeDonne M on May 30, 2015Look around you....what color do you see appearing over and over? That is a good place to start. Wander a fabric store, what colors do you find yourself gravitating to? Color is personal, creates moods, what do you want? My accent color is an adobe red. I wanted warmth and a bit of energy so I chose a more subdued tone of red for my accent. No screaming fire engine for me! lol Can't wait to hear what you decide. OH, and remember, those little paint samples you can buy help a lot.Helpful Reply

FlyoverPilgrim on May 30, 2015You can do anything! Sometimes too many options are too much of a good thing. My advice is this: find some wall decor, curtain fabric, or a rug, or vase that you love. pull a color (or two) out of this object, and use these color(s) for potholders, trivets, teapot, towels, lamps, etc. Most of all, have fun as you gather your decor. Don't worry, if you like it, it'll be great!Helpful Reply

Vickie on May 30, 2015RED!!! So many amazing accessories and small appliances in red and if it is on the vintage side, some red embroidered towels, rugs with red flowers, red geraniums in the window and the list goes on and on! Congrats on the new kitchen, I hope to have one soon and will be using white gray and of course RED and lots of pine cones! My grandkids call me Mammie so I am going to use some vintage Mammy items including music sheets (very musical family) and I am crazy in love with pine cones for many years now. You know, do what you love in there whatever color or theme. I love being a Mammie, LOVE that we are a musical family and pine cones just make me happy and it shows throughout our house, so put your stamp of what you love on your kitchen!Helpful Reply

Julie Benson-Grant on May 30, 2015My suggestion? RED! Kitchenaid has a whole line of appliances such as toasters, coffee brewers, toaster ovens, mixers, etc. They also have a line of towels and potholders in the same reds. Red is easy to find in dishes, pans, pots and art work. Red is a staple color, won't go in and out of fashion. It is also considered a warm color, soothing yet energizing and a great compliment to grey and white. My kitchen is red and white and I love it! In the end, however, it will be something that you live with, so you gotta love it! Good luck!Helpful Reply

Tami on May 30, 2015Turquoise and yellow accents would be beautiful. Window treatments, small appliances, art, dishes, kitchen towels, glassware are all ways to add your color. Maybe your kitchen chairs could be a bright turquoise. Just go to Target, Home Goods, or whatever your favorite store is, and you'll find tons of stuff. Look at kitchen pictures in magazines or on line to get ideas too.Helpful Reply

Dawnmarie on May 30, 2015I'd go with maybe a green but kind of a deep green or some pea green accents. There's a lot of different shades of green. Otherwise a burnt orange. Unless you like pastels.Helpful Reply
