The butcher block was old...and sticky... and awful. So off we went to the quarry to search for granite. What an improvement!

Theresa on Jun 05, 2015Ladies, is it about the look or about how you cook? I have been married for almost 43 years, (Yikes) that sounds so long... and 3 years ago I had purchased a glass top stove. My very first double oven, and self cleaning as well. To think that it is 2015, and I never had one, and all the cooking that I have done... I cringe... and my stoves' were always spotless, (0ne at home and one @ the cottage). My point of the story is.. I have cooked on gas, electric, and the glass topped, and my preference is: the glass topped. It is easier to keep clean, keep control of the heat, and better features, and when all said and done, it is a beautiful appliance.
