It is easy to find outdated globes at thrift stores or garage sales, so why not give them a little makeover?
Once you have found an old globe, it is time to buy some acrylic paint and decide what colors you want to paint it! I made sure mine went with the color scheme in my bedroom, but every globe will be different.
I chose to make my oceans light blue. Since it was a light color, it took 3-4 coats to be opaque. Use a wide brush for bigger areas, and a smaller brush for the details such as the edge of the countries.
Once it is all dry, take a paint marker and draw any labels you want. I just labeled the countries but labeling the oceans could be fun too! To see the full post, checkout my blog!
