The FANCIEST-SCHMANCIEST Garage Sale Signs
by

Every year our subdivision has a neighborhood garage sale. This year I had tons of lovely junk to get rid of because we've been switching our entire home over from a gold color palette to a gray one. I needed to get rid of ALL my gold and brown stuff!!! So, I decided to make bold, obnoxious garage sale signs in hopes getting a ton of traffic to our house.... AND IT WORKED!
The hot pink foam board is just from Target. And we used the metal inside of an old sign in between each of the 2 sided signs. They were taped together around the border with clear packing tape. Easy breezy.
Who can say no to "classy crap"? And polka dots?
Everyone needs more junk.
Our junk is better than your junk.
This one was my mom's idea. And she is not reallllllly a hoarder, but she had a lottttttttttt to get rid of.
I even made one sign with glitter. Because it's wise to spend $$86 on garage sale sign MATERIALS in hopes of making $100 on the sale. Lol. I jest.

I even made a little video of me glittering the signs because it just ended up being just too much fun NOT to share.
The signs ended up being so stinkin' cute that unfortunately, we had 2 get stolen. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. They should be easy to spot around town however! Ha!

Christine Soper on Jun 07, 2015Very Smart. Yes Signs do work. I made signs not fancy but I put one on every corner from both directions to my house with arrows and people loved it.
