Lin on Jun 04, 2015Thanks b. enne, but I do not have any structure to hold up rods, but like the idea. Maybe someone has a sturdy but removable frame idea that would go outside to hold curtain rods.Helpful Reply

Susan on Jun 04, 2015how about a trellis planter box? You could substitute the trellis with some old bifold doors or some old shutters found at garage sales or the restore in your area. Not too expensive and moveable when finished with it.Helpful Reply

Country Design Home on Jun 05, 2015I think your best bet would be a pop-up style tent. You can purchase pretty much at any big box store for less than $100. Easy to put up and down, you don't need to attach it to anything. And while its up you could decorate with some outdoor lighting and potted plants. And you could add some fabric side panels as well. This one is from Walmart: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Stalwart-Pop-Up-Instant-Canopy-Tent-10-x-10-Red/41008093Helpful Reply

Roberta Stewart-Fite on Jun 05, 2015If you have something to tie off to, you could use rope, clothes line rope. Weave it through the holes of the shower curtain, then tie off. I would use the cloth type shower curtain for added strength. Also, you could use an eye hook to tie off to, to give your new shade sale a more finished look.Helpful Reply

Lindcurt on Jun 05, 2015Folding bamboo or rattan screens would stand on their own and could be folded to store away for their next use. Check out your local thrift store.Helpful Reply

Ann on Jun 05, 2015We used coffee cans, cement, pvc pipe and fittings to make panels for curtains and lights at my daughter's wedding. If you are worried about stability you could use 2 gallon or 5 gallon buckets. It was an inexpensive solution that was easy to set up and take down and it gave us 42' running feet of panels 7' high x 7' wide. I am going to use two of the panels on my back deck with sheer Ikea outdoor curtains to make a privacy corner.Helpful Reply
