Jeani Miller Miner on Jun 07, 2015If this is factory installed laminate and not an add on from a DIYer, then you're stuck with it. You're not stuck with the finish though. You can rough up the surface and paint it OR you can use Annie Sloan Chalk Paint (available in dozens of colors) and paint over your existing cabinets with little or no prep. (maybe a good washing to remove kitchen grease). The Laminate will still be there, but you can create a finish that you likeHelpful Reply
