Peppermint on a spray bottle -oil mix ed with water. Peppermint oil on cotton balls in film cannisters with many holes poked into the container. Drain lines under sinks etc. stuff firmly around opening with steel wool. Mice can enter holes the size of pencils!

Ultrasonic pest repellants from Amazon or target etc,.in one week all will be cleared including cats!

Pure Peppermint oil is super effective, but catch them first if you can, otherwise you could corner them and they die....and smell! Put the oil in small dishes and place in the typical spots you see them in. Plant peppermint around you house foundation, also I 'plant' moth balls the house foundation. If I am able to catch the mice I then put PURE peppermint oil on our air conditioning vent, so it will go throughout the whole house. It doesn't take long before they disappear.
