I have a doorway into a bedroom that is larger than normal. How do I make a door to fit? I would love a sliding barn look.

There are a lot of tutorials on how to build a barn-style door. Remember, though, that these take up wall space, and if you have outlets, vents, etc. on that wall, they will be covered and unusable when the door is open. The easiest route would be to frame in the opening to fit a standard size door. If you don't have the skills to do this, you will need to hire a carpenter to do this - hopefully the same person can finish the walls for you,

The barn style door idea (if you have the wall space) is great but if you can not accomplish this and you do not need a larger opening, don't try getting a door that is larger, just add some additional wood to the sides of the opening until you are able to put in a conventional door. Should be much cheaper than a custom door. you can dress up your expanded door frame with some specialty molding if it need to be dressed up. Good luck.
