We are getting our home ready to put on the market and some of the rooms needed repainting because the paint was several years old, scuffed and worn. We painted our Master Bedroom a neutral White Sand from Benjamin Moore, but the room looked a little too neutral for me.
This is how our bedroom looked after it was painted. The bed seemed a little bit to light and neutral for me.
We loved the dark brown paint in our Master Bedroom, but we wanted to brighten things up for resale.
A closeup photo of the bed after we painted.
I found some King Size gray pillow shams and a matching King Size quilt at Steinmart.com. I found the pretty pillows at Marshall's.
Found a silver pillow (behind the light pillow) at Marshall's as well. I used a gift card so the pillows from Marshall's didn't have to come out of our budget.
The after. I think it looks better with a little color. For more photos: http://www.diydesignfanatic.com/2015/06/master-bedroom-re-reveal.html
