Painting 90's kitchen cabinets
-
Janice on Jun 20, 2015Hi, I used AS paint on the bottom cabinets in my kitchen. I had to do more than one coat only because I used Pure White which doesn't have as much pigment as her other colors. No real prep. I think I sanded the existing cream colored paint lightly. Then I used her clear wax in thin coats after. Maybe 2 thin coats. I love the way they turned out! I understand AS has a new product for a top coat. Easier to apply. Ask your stockist about that.Helpful Reply

Rosie Walsh on Jun 21, 2015PLEASE don't do this without prepping. Kitchen cabinets have a buildup that needs thorough cleaning off. I use TSP, scrub every inch, then rinse with water until rinse water is clear.Helpful Reply
