What to do with old ceiling fan hardware?

I recently used up some old ceiling fan blades to create those big dragonflies that seem so popular. Now, any suggestions for what to do with the metal "arms" that held the blades? I have a whole pile of them and it seems a shame for them all to go to waste.

Do you have a picture of them? I may have an idea, but it depends on the shape of them.

I've seen fan blades put together as a windmill design on the sides of barns or garage depending how big.....or paint a rusty color and add to your outdoor garden,,sorta hide for antique look (:
