Ann on Jun 22, 2015Marine grade spar varnish is the best all weather sealer in my experience. It even seals and protects paper mache projects outdoors. Sometimes it gives an amber hue which makes the piece look vintage. I have tried the clear acrylic spray and it takes multiple coats several times a year to do the job. Even then it is not totally weatherproof but it usually lasts until you get tired of the piece.Helpful Reply
