West Elm Inspired Striped Pouf

I've joined a few blog friends to create West Elm inspired projects this summer, and our first theme was "Outdoors". I created a striped pouf that can double as extra seating & a footrest!
I measured and cut my fabric, then painted my uneven lines on with a small paint brush.
I first pinned my fabric together, then stitched right along the seam. I left one side open so I could fill it up with poly fill.
I used a lot of poly fill - more than 4 bags - the sealed it with my permanent super fabric glue.
This is the perfect addition to my patio!
My knock-off project only cost about $40 to make, as opposed to the West Elm version for $149! Gotta love DIY!
Enjoyed the project?
