Angie on Jun 26, 2015Around the bottom ring attach mason jars to where they are hanging between the hook shapes(hook above and below the jar) and put candles in them, If I am counting right, that would be nine. Best of luck to you, it is a very pretty piece.Helpful Reply

Pat on Jun 26, 2015There are many examples online. I would do what Angie suggested. That would be very rustic. You can even lightly glaze the jars to add color.Helpful Reply

Leah Oswald on Jun 27, 2015Not sure what look she is going for. The clear finials look like cabinet door knobs to me so maybe you can find some to replace the lost ones. If the mason jar look is too rustic I think painting it a silver/tin color would give it a country chic feel. Then wrap it in white mini lights and on the bottom if you could attach with wire some white icicle lights would give you a draping effect. You would need to find the white on white lights so not to deal with the green wire.Helpful Reply

Jen Stenjem on Jun 27, 2015Have you considered purchasing several sets of "patio" lights? I have seen them at Target. The light bulbs are in the shape of globes, and similar to the white finials you currently have on the piece. If you drape the patio lights over the chandelier it will add more lighting (a soft romantic light) for your reception. (Use white electrical tape to secure the lights to the piece.) After the wedding is over you can repurpose the lights for the deck or patio and hang the chandelier in the kitchen to store pots and pans....just a thought. You may be able to find finials at a restore (old glass drawer knobs) or at a home improvement store to replace the missing pieces. Good luck!Helpful Reply

Kathy on Jun 27, 2015I would use battery operated led lights on thin wire. You could hot glue the small battery boxes in inconspicuous places and perhaps hot glue some ivory faux flowers around the boxes and scattered around the rest of the chandlier. I would also drape faux pearls fron it also. Hope this helps give you some optionsHelpful Reply

Molly on Jun 27, 2015Same here. Led strings of dot lites. Paint w primer sealant spray paint. Then outdoor spray paint cream...then a little chalk paint to add just a touch of color which can tie into wedding colors. Also check the wreath aisle at store & look for strings of crystal like faux crystals. Id definitely add that cause it allows you to hide battery packs tie in battery packs with wire and/or paint wire & pack to color b lend. Take off the balls and add hanging crystals or beads to match wedding colors.Helpful Reply

Marilyn Barris on Jun 27, 2015I transformed an old iron birdcage into a beautiful chandelier and used a remote control, color changing (many functions) LED bulb. For your purpose, have you thought about the fiber optics bulbs that are pinpoint lights. I think they'd be perfect for this. Would love to see the finished product.Helpful Reply

Amy Ogden-Paparone on Jun 27, 2015I'd use fairy lights, they come on a very thin wire and would make that chandilier look absolutely stunning. You can also add a flowered vine in the colors she chose for her big day. You can take a look here http://www.lightsforalloccasions.com/c-194-fairy-lights.aspx?pagenum=1 to get an idea of what you may want to do. Congratulations on the upcoming wedding! Many years of Happiness to your Daughter and her new soon to be husband. They even sell crystals you can add to it if you click on Weddings and then click on Chandilier.Helpful Reply

Sharon on Jun 27, 2015The best idea I saw for a chandelier was to take all the electrics off, buy cheap solar garden lights, glue just the tops onto the chandelier and hang in a tree in the garden. No electricity needed!Helpful Reply

Andrea on Jun 28, 2015First of all...great find its a wonderful piece! I would most certainly make use of fairy lights. They have this wonderful glimmer quality that just adds an amazing ambiance! Best part...they also come in a battery powered option! If it's an indoor wedding the solar powered option won't do you much good. Hobby Lobby had some gorgeous wisteria vines (used them on several occasions for various wedding etc that I have coordinated) that would look very nice with the fairy lights. And I would add pearls. They are a very nice touch and go well with a rustic look. As for the faux crystals you might be able to find ones that look the same (or close enough) to replace the missing ones. I've bought them before at Hobby Lobby as well! And Congratulations to your daughter!Helpful Reply

Julies1949 on Jun 28, 2015I was just going to post about using solar garden stakes from the dollar store, but I see it has already been suggested. It is so easy to do and requires no wiring. Just make sure the solar lights are charged up before you hang the chandelier. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/10907224071019019/Helpful Reply
