We are having trouble with skunks in south Georgia, never seen one here before 3 years ago. They keep getting under our double wide mobile home which is under pinned with vinyl siding. If we fix where they went under at they will just dig a hole. How to keep them out from under our house?

I heard that moth balls will do the trick. Toss a few in their path to see if it will help.

First, lay down a 1-2' perimeter of chicken wire; cover with large gravel. Also, they remember the scent. You will have to also clean out (rake) their nest and then spray a biological deodorizer. I am not an expert, but this is what I'd do. We had possums. Mothballs can be eaten by kids and pets, so stay away from them.

We had several families of skunks under our deck, never sprayed, but had us very nervous. We were told to use moth balls, but you need lots of them. Our deck wasn't tiny but it wasn't huge either, and we must have put about 10 boxes of moth balls under it..The boxes weren't real large, and it worked. They left right away and never came back. Of course, if we have put lattice along the bottom of the deck to cover the open space, they wouldn't have been under there in the first place.
