Claudia on Jan 16, 2014I believe this is a Russelia equisetiformis which grows best in tropical climates. Similarly, Cuphea ignea, also known as Firecracker plant and Cigar plant is grown as an annual and is equally nice and loved by butterflies and hummingbirds.
