I have an old sweater that I want to use to make a cozy pillow cover. I found lots of examples in blogland of cute pillow covers made out of old sweaters. Check out my blog to see my favorites, and links back to the sources. This is going to be a huge challenge for me, I do not sew!

    Love this. I have also been using knitwear for storage/decorative boxes, as in my profile pic it shows a cardboard box that I have hot glue gunned a jumper/sweater to it, and added lining and a pocket from a men's shirt for side storage of usbs etc.

      @JulieAnne Good for you. I really think that knitwear used as decor can add lots of warmth and add a cosy feel for the winter months.

    If you knit you can easily make your own. I knit my own chunky throw in cream coloured yarn and added a pom pom to each corner. I also knit a few cushion covers. I added knitted flowers to one of them. It was fun trying out different stitches and a
