Well if you thought my last post was easy -
See tin can planters ;)
This post is almost a joke!
Alas it is the perfect way to spruce up some cheap thrift shop vases, or those plain old vases you get from purchases at flower shops.
Materials:
Old vase (clear glass works nicely)
Painters tape
Gold liquid eaf paint (Michael's craft store, I already had it on hand)
Paint brush small (or depending on size of vase)
*If you don't have items on hand this is still a very inexpensive endeavour! Look for vases being tossed or for cheap at flea markets.
The paint will be the most expensive purchase but you can reuse it for many projects. :)
Tape off section of vase choose wherever you like, it's your prerogative.
Get handy liquid leaf paint and small brush ready.

Paint vase below the tape line and allow time to dry, if necessary apply second coat or touch up.
Voila!

A vase that now looks stylish and chic.

You can check out my full blog post below but truely this project is as simple as it seems.

Would make a great homemade gift and you could get the kids involved with the painting ;)
