I want to put a cloth flag behind and 6 pane glass window. Can anyone tell me how to attach the flag so that it stays tight?

You might be able to mount it on clear contact paper. That would make it fit into the corners a little tighter.

a staple gun should also work well

Upholstery tacks will work, but be very gentle because of the glass, upholsterers use a very lightweight hammer. I might suggest adhesive backed velcro as a slightly less risky alternative (I'm assuming the glass is still in the panes).

I would make a casing of matching fabric for the top and the bottom of the flag. Same color and type of fabric. Using the smallest possible spring type curtain rods, make the casing so that the curtain rod will fit in. This makes it possible to take it down easily for cleaning. Just insert the spring rods n the casing at top and bottom and place in the window. Hope this helps. Chloe

What about self-adhesive velcro that you could remove. It's made by the company that makes those pull-off plastic hooks. Command strips I think is the name.

    The upholstery tacks worked great!
