Debi53 on Jul 03, 2015If that doesn't work, try a mild clorox/water solution to wash the inside. Leave the freezer open several days to air out.Helpful Reply

Rosemarie Randolph on Jul 04, 2015In our shop, when we get a freezer or refrigerator like that, we have used a cleaner sold by the Family Dollar Store called Mean Green, that is amazing! We do first clean out what we can, and use the vinegar, baking soda, newspapers, and coffee grounds, not usually all at the same time, but in really bad units, we keep adding until I can't smell it and then finish with the mean green. Don't use 409 types or bathroom cleaners, though! I ruined an expensive unit that way.Helpful Reply

This works great, use blue Listerine wipe down the entire inside of the fridge.Close the door let it sit with the Listerine for a good 24 hours then wash it out with soapy water. If the smell has not gone repeat the processHelpful Reply

Sherrie on Jul 05, 2015There is foam underneath the bottom. And if blood leaked underneath into the foam nothing else you do will get rid of the smell until you remove the foam. the freezer should have the Symantec's somewhere on them or google it with the serial and model number it should show how to remove the bottom so you can remove the foam.Helpful Reply
