I want to spray paint a ceramic lamp to achieve that WHITE MATTE POTTERY look, that Mid-Centuy, ' Jonathan Adler' matte-white pottrey look...any ideas? Do I use a 'flat white' spray paint, will that do the job?

I think I would use white primer it has like a little of a mat plaster look almost

I tried flat white spray paint from Walmart and I like the flat white finish it gave to an assortment of different size vases. I used them to fill in a display of milk glass. Try it out on a sample piece.

I'm a fan of Krylon Spray Paint. Always consistent. They have several finishes inlcluding a flat matte. If you don't like it you can always paint with another type.

I would spray lamp with at least 2 light coatings of flat white. After those have dried completely I would then spray a matt finsh clear coat if you want a light shine. If not just do flat white.

I would use ASCP - it has a beautiful matte finish. It's super easy to use and you don't have to sand or prime the ceramic.
