I would like to know if anyone has used textured wallpaper for furniture updates.

Textured (and paintable) wallpaper is called "Anaglypta" wallpaper. The very popular wallpaper that looks like beadboard is a form of anaglypta. In addition to using it as regular wallpaper in 2 houses, I applied it to an old set of bedroom furniture to give it an updated coastal look. I also used it on the removal fiberglass front panel of a whirlpool bathtub at our former home. I never had any problems getting it to stick to these surfaces. I have attached a few photos for you.

It doesn't all look like beadboard. I get all different designs in GA./USA.

  @Leta Speegle Yes, I am aware that anaglypta wallpaper comes in endless designs. I just happened to use the beadboard style because that was the look I was going for. I included the photos of my furniture because you said you wanted to know if anyone had used textured wallpaper for furniture updates. Long story short...yes, the other designs can be used on furniture too. If your surface is clean and smooth, wallpaper will stick to just about anything. I've included another photo that I found on the internet some time ago and saved for my personal reference. Unfortunately, I don't know the source of the photo to give credit.
