Wall mounted entertainment center

I want an entertainment center/cabinet that would fit our electronics and etc. My vision is that it would be mounted about 2 feet from the floor so storage ottomans would fit underneath. Sounds easy but I haven't found anything like my "crazy vision".

Find the studs and use metal spreading screws; also run a heavy board against the wall behind the shelf to the floor; "paint the same color as the wall", this will provide a lot of strength. I don't know how large and how heavy the items will be. If you are planning on storing your DVD's or Cd's there. Good luck! Hope this Helped!

Hi, Look up Lia Griffth's website. She just did an amazing idea of putting a "structure" like thing that looks like a painting that can be changed that goes OVER the tv. She has GREAT ideas on her website. Good luck, Mary

I went to Ikea and got designed our own. They have many styles that are made for hanging on the wall. We opted for sides with feet but if the TV grows again all I have to do is spread the two side units out and let the center above unit hang free. We got it on sale in Dec/Jan members discount sale of 60% off.
