February Maintenance Checklist

Last month, in keeping with the theme we took the standard items from our Monthly Maintenance checklist & posted them here. For many people one big issue they have is not knowing where to start or they are stuck looking at a huge list & they freak. When we originally introduced the series on the HTRC we decided to break down the needed chores into more manageable portions taking into account Holidays, Vacations, and one's overall busy schedules, the weather - so with no further ado, here is February's...
In last month's checklist – we had you do the walk about,where you should have listed any area's that might need to be watched, well itis time to check up on those areas. If any areas need attention, get them taken care of now or add them to your indoor projects list.
If you have ceramic tile, granite or any other stoneproducts in your house now is a good time to clean and reseal them, before the gardening and other outside work takes over.
How is the rest of your flooring? Now is a good time to lookat getting it cleaned or repaired. Many flooring stores start having sales this month to get rid of last year's overstock to make room for new.

Start a calendar listing any vacations you want to take, and any major indoor or outdoor projects you want or need to get done. Start working up a budget and time frame for all of them.
Change out your HVAC filter - as for every month or 250 hours - that depends on how dusty your house is, use & amount of pets - for most it is easier to remember...
Yes I know you changed the batteries last month (assuming you followed our program) but it is a good habit to check them monthly. In most cases you just need to press a button
