Snakes in a pond
-
Kimberly A on Jul 10, 2015I used to get them in my pool all the time, which makes for unhappy swimmers. I was told to. try an old deterrent of a line of surfer powder all the way around the perimeter and snakes wouldn't cross it. Now I had to keep it up especially if it rained. It smelled pretty bad but I haven't seen them since. I honestly do not know if that was it or they just went away, but it is worth a try. Those things are not poisonous but extremely aggressive and do not get scared away easily. Good luck!Helpful Reply

Joanne williamson on Jul 11, 2015I had a 9000 gallon pond about 20 feet from the river..Got them all the time.Mine was covered in rocks and if you are a lucky shot you can get them with a b b gun..Betwwen the rocks and the very heavy liner I did not have any leaks..A lot of them would hide under the water fall..Did not mind getting them there because it was above the water line and the b bs did not seem to bother anything..Helpful Reply
