What is the Favorite Room in Your House?
For me, in my house, it is my kitchen. Although, I have collected things from my parents and grandparents that are scattered throughout my house, my most prized items are in my kitchen. How about you? What room is your favorite?
My son, Josh, made my cabinets for me. My bar stools are covered with photos of my family. There are reminders of my family all over.
The tile work at my coffee bar-both the wall and the counter-I did. It is a reminder that I am only limited by the limits that I put on myself.
The crock belonged to my dad-he made pickles in it. The back rolling pin was my Granny Daisy's, the front rolling pin was my Grandma Margaret's. Three generations have made pie dough with those rolling pins.
