Porch With a Purpose II

Well it's been along time since I posted the first "Porch With A Purpose." I have to say it's still my favorite. Times change and the need to change along with it. So this is the latest.
Hope you like it!
After the first porch with a purpose, I added the chairs because hubby was tired of not having a place to sit when he came out on the porch. My preference...no chairs lol.
It's all about the red-white-and blue!
"Life begins in the garden"
When I saw this I thought it was a door, but it is a tailgate lol. I really prefer having both "doors" slanted at an angle, but when it's windy they don't stay like that. Usually blown over. Ugh!
The hummer fountain is so pretty at night. The lights in the fountain reflects the water on the fence.
Love my little girl with the bird on her dress. Thinking of painting her in soft colors. What do you think?
Love my fountain, this side of the blue bulb. With the bedroom windows open you can hear it. So soothing. We lost our shade tree for the bedroom this summer. It stood next to the little girl statue. Sure hated to lose it!
And a few more pictures of what's in the flower beds.

I agree with hubby, you need chairs on the front porch. You want to sit and watch the world pass by while your on the porch. No chairs means it is just another room with no purpose, just something pretty to look at while going in and out of the front door. Porches are meant to sit, on those lazy hot summer days with a glass of lemonade or a good book. Yous looks great!
