Help installing self stick vinal floor tiles

I just installed self stick vinal floor tiles and a few pieces are not laying flat. I have used this product with great success in another room and think that this case may have some adhesive issues. The areas that are coming up are limited to only 9 tiles and only one section of the 12 inch square tiles are not adhering. What kind of adhesive should I use to get these to stick?

When this happened in my bathroom, I used Liquid Nails and put a box of tiles on them to weigh them down while drying overnight. That was 6 or 7 years ago and they are holding up. I had no recourse because I bought them as a final sale on clearance. Maybe you can exchange them if they are still under warranty.

when I wanted to cover the wood counters in my woman cave, I went to the hardware store and bought self stick tiles. The man in the hardware store told me to use a two part adhesive. You paint it on and wait for it to get tacky and then put the self stick tiles down. That is what I did and I have not had any problems with the counter tops since. I have slid boxes and crates and sewing machines and sergers etc around and the tiles have really held up.

I used a floor primer/adhesive for my new tile floor but some edges just won't stick!
