Kristine on Jul 24, 2015My cousin noticed the same thing happening with her new freezer/ice maker. So she called the store she bought it from and they directed her to the manufacturer. The manufacturer told her it's a water-saving feature. Apparently most (all?) new ice makers are now built this way.Helpful Reply
