Light cover for slanted ceiling

I have a friend who has a slanted ceiling in her utility room. So, how do you cover a light bulb fixture that is on a slanted ceiling?

You will need to have someone who knows about electricity, I believe you can get a longer rod to hang the bulb on and then use the cover.

  @Kathy Meador Wells Where the light is located, it is just too low for a rod. What I need is something to cover it taking in consideration of the angle. Possibly something I could make or re-invent.

Replace the fixture with one with a globe of some sort, less than $10..I'm assuming you have a porcelain fixture now, in which the bare bulb screws into..is it controlled by a wall switch, or pull-chain?

  @Pete Wells Yes, my friend has a bare bulb that screws in and controlled by a wall switch. However, if she placed a globe on it, it would still be crooked. And, as before does anyone have an idea for a cover that she or I could make and can be adjusted? It could be made of anything such as paper, or wallpaper, cardboard covered with paint or some type design...

  @Karen Criner I see what you mean, a simple fixture with globe will still be on a slant...you'll have to find a fixture that you can aim after mounting, with a swivel at the fixture base..the base slant will still match the ceiling slant, but you can aim the bullet-shaped lampholder in any direction..similar to a track light, a more expensive solution..

  I've also, when strapped for cash, used a lampshade that clips to the bulb..adjustment could be problematic..
