Tree surround seat
Please help, I have planted a tree in my back yard that will grow quite big over time and I want to build a seat to go around the base.

Build it of wood. Build it with a bigger hole than you think necessary so you won't have to rebuild it soon. Mulch about 3" thick over the roots and under where the bench will be, and if you have "feet" on the legs that won't stick down and disturb the roots that's best. Don't let the mulch actually touch the root-flare of the tree.
