Decoupaged Demijohn

One day a saw an add about someone selling demijohns, I didn't know what to do with it yet but I bought it straight away. Quite please how it turned out
Before
I painted it and glued a lovely image
I varnished and waxed it. Then added some twine, a ribbon and lime's net. Love it!

Did you use several chalk paint colours layered over each other, or just one colour. And would be kind enough to tell me what colour or colours you used. Many thanks G.
