I want to paint two metal lamps

The lamps are a bronze color metal and I would like to paint them silver or black. The lamps are table or entry lamps. It needs to be EASY as I am a novice. Thanks for your ideas.

Make sure they are clean,then spray them 2 light coats of spray paint finished!

I always head for Krylon paints. They literally have a paint for ANY surface and easy to use. Good luck!

Tape up what you don't want to paint and grab some Krylon paint for metal in your color choice. Doesn't get any easier. I have done this and it works great.

Clean and dry lamps. Spray paint as directed on can. I know that Home Depot has numerous choices of metalic finish spray paints that give excellent results and are very reasonable and easy to use.

Great suggestions all, just remember to take your time and do light coats. Nothing spoils your finnish like a run.
