Leather scratches

My son has a brown leather sectional that has quite a few scratches where the color is gone. Any suggestions on what would cover the spots?

Cream shoe polish to match the color, but make sure to buff it very well or it could rub off. Give it time to dry too.

Try a permanent brown Sharpie on a small spot first. Even if it doesn't quite match it might be much less noticeable.

Car parts stores sell a kit to repair leather scratches & tears and it works beautifully. I used it on my white leather sofa that the cat had damaged a bit. Good luck!.

If it is the fabric showing scratch a fabric marker first then clear shoe polish to seal n buff. If it is real leather a great sealer and conditioner is a product that may be purchased at a feed store called Neets feet this product has erased all scratches from my leather. Don't be afraid if it darkens the leather a little it will lighten back up when dry. Test on back or side of couch if this is a concern. I use this product once a month to keep leather conditioned.

Furniture stores carry markers made for leather. They also make them for wood furniture.

You can get saddle soap at any feed store that has tack for horses.

I have covered scratches with a little bit of matching shoe polish! Just make sure you use is sparingly and rub it out well so it doesn't get on clothing.

Liquid Leather Leather Touch Up Recolor Kit on Amazon.com has great reviews for scratches on leather furniture. Good luck.
