Can you tile over a marble fireplace surround?
-
Gillian Hall on Aug 03, 2015I would think you could. It would be like putting tile on concrete as marble is "stone" ...you would need a good base product as a contact between the marble and the tile base/adhesive though to help it to stick. (like when you put down patio stones on concrete...you have to paint on a solution to make the concrete on the base stick to the fresh concrete you are applying with the stones)Helpful Reply
