I have a set of homemade, cloth Raggedy Ann & Andy dolls that have not been played with so they're in great shape, just dusty, what's the best way to clean them to give to a newborn?

Hi, I'd vacuum them carefully then put them in a plastic bag and put them in the freezer for a day. This kills any dust mites that be lurking in them.

Put each in a mesh bag, put in washer on delicate. Air dry

Thanks everyone! I'm going to combine some of the answers and put them in a bag, shake with soda let them stand awhile then shake again until clean and fresh and freeze for a day. That should do the trick!
