What the heck is this? Good bug or bad?

This was sitting on my ponytail plant on my balcony. I have no idea what type of bug this is, I don't own a DSL or other sharp shooting cameras so this is the best I can do. Thanks for your help and input.

My brain says some type of wasp but it could also be a type of ant, maybe?

Perhaps a Mayfly- try googling it. It looks close but not exactly from your picture.
