"Fairy Garden Tree From A Banana Stand"
by

I've been working on my first fairy garden off and on for a while, it's going to be an artificial one. I've been wanting to do one for so long, but I thought a real live one might be too much for me to take care of right now. I finished my little coffee cup fairies tree and I thought it turned out so darn cute, I just wanted to share!
I covered the banana stand with sheet moss and for the trees foliage I used reindeer moss. I also used other kinds of moss explained in the next picture.
I had some loose moss from other projects and glued it to what would be the trunk of the tree. Then I glued on the cinnamon sticks over the loose moss. The cinnamon sticks came all rolled up together, so I pulled them all apart before gluing them on. I glued some on with the rolled side out first and then some with the hollow side facing out. I sure have been bitten by the fairy garden bug!
Enjoyed the project?
