When designing a new layout for a kitchen remodel, there are many factors to consider. Certainly the family lifestyle, family dynamics, age of homeowners/ family members, and space available all are items which get weighed into the best design. No matter whether dreaming of a small kitchen, or a large one, there are a lot of accessories which are helpful to add to kitchen cabinets for maximizing the use of space. These photos illustrate a few add-ons and features we have incorporated into our St. Louis, MO kitchen remodeling projects.
This unique awning or uplift style cabinet hinge makes the tray shelf easily accessible.
Sometimes lower, base cabinet mounted microwaves are a good choice. Especially for children to reach and use (not always the best idea, we know) or when you want it tucked away for design reasons
A mixer lift makes handling these heavy appliances much, much easier. In this case, we also installed an outlet inside the cabinet so the mixer can stay plugged in!
Deep pot drawers are very convenient to access large, heavy pots and pans. We always advise clients to incorporate them into a new kitchen design!
Drawer mounted bread box installed in Brookhaven cabinetry.
Occasionally we do install aftermarket file storage accessories in kitchen drawers. Usually this is helpful for a side "desk" area where bills/ mail/ paperwork might start accumulating.

Hi @puchi ~ they are approx 11 1/4" bottom, 10" middle, and 5" top. These drawers are in a frameless cabinet as well.
