What would you choose for the floor?

Maple cabinets, black granite countertops, shades of grey, taupe, tan backsplash, stainless appliances. Small kitchen - suggestions for flooring-color and material.

No because it's darker then the cabinets I always heard on the designing shows lighter cabinets darker counter tops and floors or reveverse (ps if you don't want wood you could use a tile

I would choose a grey or taupe shade from your backsplash to avoid introducing any new colours.

Either wood or porcelain black tile there ware too many textures.and colours going on this news to flush subliminal to the eye I would go for maple laminate or solid flooring personally or maple colour vinyl. To much all at once it's draining the look..

A white cream porcelain will work too now I can see you can see a good bit of the walls the slash back is lovely but to complex to pick one colour.

I recently redid my kitchen with the same color cabinets. I choose a darker laminate plank flooring to compliment the granite and cabinets.

I just replaced my flooring with Karadean vinyl planks that look like wood in the Country Oak color. We love them, it has all of your colors as well.

Reconsider the white or cream. My experience is that they create too much work. Everything shows. We've had wood or slate laminate. The laminate got tons of compliments. You can get it in shades that are minimal.

Looks almost like my kitchen. I would put in wood floors and change the hardware on the cabinets to match the appliances. It will tie everything together

I have oak cabinets with stainless appliances and a mingled beige brown counter top and put a mingled bluish grey beige/white 12x24 ceramic tile...love it...I have learned do what you like after several looks....

The room needs to be grounded as it looks top heavy with the light flooring. As nice as the countertop is, it is very dense and heavy looking. I would go dark on the floor. .

We just put LVT (luxury vinyl tile) wood look planks throughout our house and LOVE them. We chose a "reclaimed wood" look tile but, if that's too rustic looking for you, they come in a very wide range of looks and colors. You can choose click type, loose-lay or even glue them down. They are incredibly durable (ours came with a 30 year warranty) and clean up like a dream.
