My chair redo

This chair was very nice in its "patina" and its perfectly fine cane seating. I bought it years ago at a 2nd hand store to work with a similar desk. The desk left to my parents house, but the chair remained. I have never liked it in my new home...So finally I turned it into a chair to fit my NEW to me table I bought recently (for a steal) and now they match!
I tried so hard to find a picture of the chair before (never much cared about it so the one I have is cut out of another very messy picture!) but you can see the chair and the chair to match my AWESOME new table I got for only $50 and had been for sale for $200 in a local shop in the past.
