How do you drill a hole in a terracotta pot?

Nikki Stanford on Aug 16, 2015tape the site where you want the hole withe masking tape or painters tape. Mark the tape to be sure you are in the right spot. I use a diamond drill bit. Hope this helps.Helpful Reply

Dorothy Hoskins on Aug 16, 2015I've read that for pottery, porcelain and other clay items you should use a cement drill bit. Use water to keep it cool as you are drilling.Helpful Reply
