A DIY Magnetic Chalkboard

It all began with a bottle of Snapple. You know those fun fact caps they have, right? Well, I thought they would make great magnets --- so naturally I needed to make a magnetic chalk board to stick them to. :)
I began by using a duct end cap that a tin knocker would use. It was less than $3 at the home improvement store. I hammered the edges flat and drilled a couple of holes to string a ribbon hanger through.
I attached magnets to the back of Snapple drink caps...
I glued a Snapple cap to the chalkboard to hold a couple of pieces of chalk...
I strung the ribbon through and completed the project!

Hi Andrew, great idea but isn't it necessary to use magnet paint? The magnets also stick to chalkpaint? Kind regards Martine from The Netherlands
