Valier Leonard on Aug 19, 2015if the base is hollow you could drill through the bottom and the top of the base run a small hose up thru it into the bottom of the bowl like a lamp cord and if you do decide to drill it you need to use a masonry bit I have one that broke the bowl broke in half so I plan to use the base and the plate it sits on for a yard light I am going to drill a hole in the base and put a solar hanging lamp in it and set it on the base plate at the bottom of my deck stairs for added light I plan on attaching the base to the post with construction adhesive I set the broken bowl at the base of my tree for the squirrels to fed out ofHelpful Reply

Janet chambers on Aug 20, 2015I have a fountain and had to buy a new pump this year and my pump is very small, about 3"x3". You could put the pump and tubing in the middle of the bowl, stack some rocks around it and then on top to build it up a little to get that nice fountain sound. and they would hide the pump. You just need something heavy enough to hold the pump under the water. You could put some fake greenery/sea shells around it. Put the tubing up through the rocks where you want and you would also be able to thread the power cord through the rocks. The decorating ideas for this are endless! I will add a photo of mine. My pump sits in the bottom bowl, and plugs into a plug behind it. Hope this helps!Helpful Reply
