I have 2 console lamps that needed a home but I dread putting them on the table because all you see is the ugly cords plugged into the wall socket what should I do?

We use a short light colored extension cord that doesn't show badly against our paint, plugged it in, and taped the excess cord and outlet end to the bottom of the table underneath, and then plugged the lamps into the cord outlet, gathering up the excess lamp cords and taping them under the table as well. Used duct tape to hold the weight.

I found paintable cord covers at Walmart in the stereo/ tv section They stick to your wall and I used the same wall paint to help blend

If it's a wood table drill through the top and tuck the cords under the lamp, paint them and put them around the base. Hard to say without pictures but that's what I did
