I use a mix of peroxide and water (2 parts water to 1 part peroxide). Spray it over your counter then wipe off with a clean paper towel. If your counter is still sticky, try sprinkling baking soda over it, then spray the peroxide/water and let it sit for a few minutes. Then dry. Note: I use this peroxide/water for all my cleaning now. I also sprinkle the baking soda over my sinks then spray as noted above. My sinks look like new. If you want them to shine, use Dawn dish soap with the baking soda. Viola: looks like new!!

vinegar, few squeezes of lemon juice and hot water, sprintz on the counter and wipe down. Lemon is a natural degreaser and pleasant smell.

I use nothing but straight up vinegar on mine with maybe a few drops of a favorite essential oil. Thieves or mint. Cleans and disinfects!

Sorry Betty Mac. It didn't work. I'm going to try the suggestion from Wanda, IL (vinegar, lemon juice & hot water).
